This article reviews issues that are commonly encountered when setting up or modifying the Product Master.
The Product Master screen in the Admin Center is where users add, edit, and manage products within strategies. While working in this area, certain validation rules ensure that product data is complete and accurate. If any information is missing or incomplete, an orange warning triangle with an exclamation mark will appear next to the affected product or strategy.
It is important to note that users cannot save or publish the Product Master until all issues are resolved.

Common Errors and How to Resolve The #
Product Missing Offered Country #
- Error: A message appears indicating that a product must have at least one offered country.
- Solution: Edit the product and assign at least one offered country.
Missing Default Product #
- Error: A strategy does not have a designated default product.
- Solution: Edit the strategy’s products and check the box to set one product as the default.
Missing Product Code #
- Error: The product does not have a product code assigned.
- Solution: Edit the product and enter a valid product code that follows your organization’s naming conventions.
Cannot Add a Strategy #
- Error: Users attempt to add a new strategy from within the Product Master.
- Solution: Strategies cannot be added here. Strategies must come from a client data source (e.g., accounting system or data warehouse). Contact Assette Client Service for assistance.
