Every deliverable in Assette draws from three core content inputs: data, qualitative information, and disclosures.
- Data includes performance, holdings, attribution, and transactions—always sourced directly from your data warehouse or accounting and portfolio analytics systems. Connect Assette to your Snowflake, databases such as SQL Server or APIs. If you are still using flat files, upload files to Assette. Most firms use a mix. No matter what approach you choose, Assette does not import your data, and instead streams it directly from sources (including any files uploaded to Assette).
- Qualitative Information is the narrative information that brings your numbers to life. This includes firm and strategy descriptions, bios, organizational structure, and value propositions. You can manage this content directly in Assette, giving your team access to version control, workflow, and structured reusability.
- Disclosures include regulatory and legal language—often stored across spreadsheets, documents, or legacy tools. In Assette, disclosures are broken into fragments, then assembled into blocks. These blocks can be tied to Data Objects so the correct disclosures appear dynamically based on the output.
Storing qualitative information and disclosures in Assette unlocks smart automation and ensures your team doesn’t have to chase Word docs and shared folders every time there’s a content update.
