The Templates section within the Component Analytics dashboard in Assette provides a comprehensive overview of all templates developed and maintained within your organization. Templates are essential building blocks in the Assette content development model, serving as structured containers for assembling financial documents and presentations using reusable content and data assets.
This view helps organizations maintain visibility into how templates are distributed and structured, allowing users to assess content reuse, monitor template types, and maintain consistency across document formats.

Viewing Template Usage and Dependencies #
To explore component dependencies—such as which data blocks are embedded in a specific template or where a brand theme is applied—users must use X-Ray. X-Ray is Assette’s tool for tracing content references and understanding relationships between components. To do this, simply click on the X-Ray icon on the right-hand side of the screen, next to the desired component.
