Login Activity #
The Login Activity feature offers the Assette Admin a comprehensive view of all user login activities across the globe. This intuitive interface provides detailed insights into user logins, including the username, login site, date/time, duration, device/browser, location (IP address), successful login status, and Shadow Login occurrences. The Assette Admin can easily search through this data using the search bar or apply advanced filters to refine the search by username, login site, date range, device/browser, or location. This makes tracking and analyzing login patterns straightforward and efficient, helping to ensure security and monitor user behavior.
To access the Login Activity, navigate to the Admin Center and select Login Activity. Here, the Assette Admin can view all the details of user login activities.

Use the filter option to apply advanced filters, allowing for more specific searches based on various criteria.

Shadow Login #
Shadow Login is a valuable feature that enables the Assette Admin to log in to a user’s account to experience the portal from the user’s perspective. This functionality is particularly useful for resolving user queries and troubleshooting issues, as it provides a first-hand view of the user’s experience, streamlining customer support and improving service quality.
In terms of permissions, only System Admins and External Admins have access to this feature. This ensures that sensitive login data is viewed only by authorized personnel. Additionally, the Shadow Login allows these administrators to step directly into a user’s account view. This access is read-only, meaning administrators can see everything the shadow-logged-in profile owner can see without making any changes. This is particularly helpful in resolving user queries swiftly by seeing exactly what the user sees, streamlining customer support and enhancing the overall experience.
To perform a Shadow Login, navigate to the Admin Center and go to the Users section. From there, select Client Portal Users. Locate the desired user, then click on the ellipses to access the advanced actions menu and select Shadow Login.

This action will open the client portal login page. Log in using the normal Assette Username and Password.

After completing the login process, the Assette Admin will be logged in as the selected portal user for the shadow login.

This session will also be recorded in the login activity as a shadow login event. By leveraging these tools, administrators can effectively monitor user activity, ensuring security while providing top-notch support through direct access to user experiences.
