This article discusses how to set up users and groups using Assure Active Directory (AAD). For an over view of user roles and tasks, please see SSO Internal User Roles & Tasks.
To add a new user to Assette using Azure Active Directory (AAD), first, go to Enterprise Application we created (Ex: Assette SSO). Go to “Users and groups” under Manage in left
navigation.

In Users and groups page, select “Add user/group”.

In the Add Assignment page, select the users and groups that want to provide access to Assette. Based on
the permission level for the selected group, select the role (Ex: Author) and then “Select”.

Now the selected user or member/s of selected Azure AD security group, has the related permission in
Assette.

Note that based on requirements, more roles can be added by following Creating Application Roles section on this guide. User and groups assigned for the application is up to client’s business requirement and should be done by an Azure AD Admin with necessary privileges from client’s end.
