# Uploading an RFP to the Assette

The Assette RFP Module allows users to efficiently manage Requests for Proposal (RFPs) through a structured upload and review process. This guide outlines the steps required to upload an RFP document within the Assette platform. Please note that access to the RFP functionality requires a purchased RFP Module.

## Prerequisites

Before uploading an RFP, ensure the following:

- Your organization has purchased and enabled the **RFP Module**.
- You have access to the **Content Hub** and the **RFP & DDQs** section within the Assette platform.

## Steps to Upload an RFP

1. **Access the RFP Upload Area**
Navigate to the **Content Hub** from the Assette main menu. Then click on **RFP & DDQs** to access the section dedicated to RFP and Due Diligence Questionnaires.
2. **Initiate a New Upload**
In the RFP & DDQs area, click on the **“Upload New”** button to begin the process of uploading a new RFP document.
3. **Upload the RFP File**
   You can either:
   - **Drag and drop** the RFP file into the designated upload area on the screen, or
   - **Click the upload icon** at the center of the upload panel to select the file manually from your device.
Depending on the file size, the upload may take several seconds to complete. The system supports the upload of **only one RFP at a time**.
4. **Review and Manage Uploaded Document**
   Once the file is uploaded:
   - A preview of the document will appear.
   - If you wish to replace or remove the document, click the **trashcan icon** next to the file name to delete it and upload another.
5. **Proceed to RFP Details**
After confirming your document, click **Next** in the bottom right corner of the screen to proceed to the details section.
6. **Enter Required RFP Metadata**
On the next screen, provide the following details:
   - **Strategy**: Select the appropriate strategy associated with the RFP.
   - **Product**: Choose the relevant product. Note that the strategy must be selected first to populate the list of products.
   - **As of Date**: Specify the date the RFP is effective.
   - **Organization**: Indicate the organization that issued the RFP.
   - **Due Date**: Enter the RFP submission deadline.
   - **Questions are on pages**:
Enter the page numbers or ranges that contain questions. For example: `1-3, 5, 7-9`.
This allows Assette to process only the relevant pages, increasing accuracy and efficiency. If this field is left blank, **all pages will be processed**.
     - Acceptable input: individual pages or page ranges (e.g., `2, 3, 4-16, 31`)
     - Caution: Pages not listed in this field will be ignored, even if they contain relevant content.
You can use the built-in page viewer to browse and identify which pages contain questions before specifying the range.
