# Smart Shell Content Classifications

Content within Assette can be tagged with customizable attributes across all layers of the Content Stack (such as Data Blocks, Data Objects, Smart Shells, Smart Pages, and Smart Docs) using [Content Classifications](https://learn.assette.com/docs/how-to-tag-content-with-attributes/). To assign a classification to a Smart Shell, begin by selecting the Advanced Action icon located on the right-hand side of the desired content and select "Content Classification"— the Content Classification menu will appear, allowing for the management of content classification.
